About Stairlifts

Stairlifts are divided into two very distinct categories. Straight or Curved. The difference between the two is quite simple, a straight stairlift has a completely straight track or rail, which means it can only serve a straight flight of stairs and cannot run onto a landing or go around a corner or bend in the stairs. A curved stairlift has a rail or track that can be made to go around bends, run onto landings or into hallways and can also serve spiral staircases.

Straight Stairlifts

Dolphin can supply and install straight stairlifts from all of the major manufacturers. We have remained an independent company so that we can recommend the best stairlift for you and your staircase without having to compromise on safety or aesthetics. We employ our own local engineers, so you won't get stranded if your stairlift breaks down. Curved Stairlifts

We have a huge range of curved stairlifts for you to choose from. A curved lift is far more complex than a straight lift, so it's very important that you choose the correct model because there is a significant difference between the manufacturers stairlifts and what they can and can't do on staircases with bends.
